Writing Instructions To Make A Dream Catcher.

We have been writing instructions. We know that instructions have to be in the correct order for people to follow them. We also know we should start each instruction using verbs.

Our Norway Pictures.

Here are some of the facts we have found out about Norway.
1. It is a long and thin country.
2. Fishing is very popular there.
3. They have lots of snow in the winter, and need snow fences to stop the snow drifitng on the roads.
4. Skiing is very popular there, and children are taught to ski from a very young age.
5. The Norwegian flag is red with a blue cross.

Jewish Festival of Sukkot - reading.

We read the story of Sammy Spider's Sukkot. We drew our own pieces of fruit to decorate the inside of our sukkah (which is a jewish hut or shelter used during harvest).

Making The Dead Tree.

We have been making 'The dead tree' from The Twits. We cut pieces of white tissue paper, then rolled it and spread sticky glue over the top. We didn't use green tissue paper, as we thought this might make the tree look like it was growing!

Playing Pairs - reading.

We have been learning our sounds. To help us, we have played pairs using flashcards containing the sound. It was tricky at the start trying to remember where our partners had put the flashcard as there were so many of them!
