Communication Skills - A visit from the firefighters
The fire fighters came to give us a talk on fire safety. It was very interesting and afterwards they showed us the fire engine!! We used our Communication Skills by asking them lots of questions!
Treasure hunt - reading clues.
Year 2 have been on a treasure hunt around the school. They had to read the clues to find the 'treasure'!
Our trip to 'Jump!'
We have been working very hard this year and earned ourselves a trip to 'Jump!'.
There was so much to do there. It was a great day out!
Communication - Using the Puppet Theatre
We love going in our puppet theatre and Communicating with each other. Here we are making up a story about our visit to Folly Farm.
Capacity - Numeracy skills.
We loved our capacity lessons. We know how many millilitres are in a litre.
We had great fun measuring the water and reading the scale.
Ict and Numeracy - Using the Bee-Bot.
We know how to program the Bee-Bot and give it directions. We learnt about right angles.
We sent it forwards, backwards, left and right.
Communicating ideas through Music
We enjoy using our Communication skills whilst making music and using the musical instruments.

Folly Farm - Communication Skills (reading)
We saw lots of interesting animals at Folly Farm. There were zebras, ostriches, reindeer, llamas and monkeys.
Here we are by the giraffes - they were very tall!
We read lots of interesting facts about the animals.

We had a great time feeding the goats. They sucked the bottle very well. They were very hungry!
Father's Day.
Here we are making our father's day cards. We did these skills - cutting, sticking, and writing.
